Use the cool suwar.

With the name of Allah all praise is for Allah. Allah shower tranquility-peace and bounteous-blessings on the last of all your noble Messenger Emissary.
I have been thinking a lot about three sign-token-verses of the Qur’an, the sincerity, the Daybreak and the Humanity. I know the humanity doesn’t sound right however in Arabic it’s perfectly fine to put a definite article in front of words that contain a multitude of individual persons or items as in “the humanity”.
All of these begin with the Arabic word ﻗﻞ، or “say”. This word is pronounced cool. This is why I say use the cool surahs or sowar which is the plural of the Arabic

Surat Al-‘Ikhlāş (The Sincerity)سورة الإخلاص

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

112:1
Transliteration

Qul huwa Allahu ahad

Sahih International

Say, “He is Allah , [who is] One,

Shakir

Say: He, Allah, is One.

Dr. Ghali

Say, “He is Allah, The Only One,

112:2
Transliteration

Allahu assamad

Sahih International

Allah , the Eternal Refuge.

Shakir

Allah is He on Whom all depend.

Dr. Ghali

Allah, The Everlasting Sovereign (The Arabic word is sometimes taken to mean all that is mentioned in verses 3 and 4).

112:3
Transliteration

Lam yalid walam yoolad

Sahih International

He neither begets nor is born,

Shakir

He begets not, nor is He begotten.

Dr. Ghali

He has not begotten and has not been begotten,

112:4
Transliteration

Walam yakun lahu kufuwan ahad

Sahih International

Nor is there to Him any equivalent.”

Shakir

And none is like Him.

Dr. Ghali

And to Him none could be co-equal.”

Surat Al-Falaq (The Daybreak)سورة الفلق

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

113:1
Transliteration

Qul aAAoothu birabbi alfalaq

Sahih International

Say, “I seek refuge in the Lord of daybreak

Muhsin Khan

Say: “I seek refuge with (Allah) the Lord of the daybreak,

Shakir

Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of the dawn,

Dr. Ghali

Say, “I take refuge with The Lord of the Daybreak, (Literally: the Splitting “of the day”).

113:2
Transliteration

Min sharri ma khalaq

Sahih International

From the evil of that which He created

Muhsin Khan

“From the evil of what He has created;

Shakir

From the evil of what He has created,

Dr. Ghali

From the evil of whatever He has created,

113:3
Transliteration

Wamin sharri ghasiqin ithawaqab

Sahih International

And from the evil of darkness when it settles

Muhsin Khan

“And from the evil of the darkening (night) as it comes with its darkness; (or the moon as it sets or goes away).

Shakir

And from the evil of the utterly dark night when it comes,

Dr. Ghali

And from the evil of a dusky night when it overspreads (its gloom),

113:4
Transliteration

Wamin sharri annaffathatifee alAAuqad

Sahih International

And from the evil of the blowers in knots

Muhsin Khan

“And from the evil of the witchcrafts when they blow in the knots,

Shakir

And from the evil of those who blow on knots,

Dr. Ghali

And from the evil of the women who spit on the knots, (i.e., perform malignant witchcraft).

113:5
Transliteration

Wamin sharri hasidin itha hasad

Sahih International

And from the evil of an envier when he envies.”

Muhsin Khan

“And from the evil of the envier when he envies.”

Shakir

And from the evil of the envious when he envies

Dr. Ghali

And from the evil of an envier when he envies.”

 

 

 

 

Surat An-Nās (The Mankind )سورة الناس

The Sovereign of mankind.

The God of mankind,

From the evil of the retreating whisperer –

114:5
Sahih International

Who whispers [evil] into the breasts of mankind –

114:6

According to hadith in Imam Nowowy’s  “GArden of the rightous” The Messemger of Allah صللى الله عليه و سام would alway read these suwar before bed

Now there are many ahadith that report that the Messenger of Allah would recite these three surah at the time before bed. They are a great help we one FEELS the words and the depth of meaning therein. A whole new vista is opened upon which fear dissolves like sugar in water.
